Peter Bright - Owner/Director

Peter Bright with wife, Jane
From age eleven to eighteen, Peter Bright was a fierce competitor in the local swimming pool. He received many accolades though his state achievements and national qualifying results remain the standouts.
In 2008 Peter commenced fulltime triathlon training. Unfortunately, a debilitating back injury put an end to his sporting goals.
Teaching Learn to Swim at the Menai Swim Academy, coupled with his interest in fitness led Peter to become a qualified personal trainer in 2009.
Peter's first fulltime job post-school was on the gym floor at the exclusive members only Stadium Club located within the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust in Moore Park.
His capabilities rapidly surpassed this initial role and Peter secured the role as Operations Manager of the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust's Stadium Club for nine years (2010 - 2019).
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility's 25 metre swimming pool, spa, tennis and squash courts, and overseeing the maintenance and supply of gymnasium equipment provided Peter with the experience of commercial facility management.
Integral to the position was:
-
Understanding financial implications associated with temporarily closing a facility
-
Understanding the inconvenience to members with facility closures
-
Monitoring and balancing of water chemistry
-
Preventative maintenance to reduce repair costs
-
Providing exceptional customer service to an exclusive clientele.
In addition to this role, Peter was the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust Stadium's Work Health and Safety Representative, a role that required him to oversee the weekly safety standards of the facility along with his general operations duties.
Over a period of ten weeks Peter rewrote the entire Safe Work Method Statements due to outdated information.

Moving his wife and four young children from the bustling Inner West Sydney suburb of Leichhardt to semi-rural Camden in the Macarthur region in 2019 sparked Peter's desire for something new.

Peter's experience in commercial pool maintenance attracted the attention of two major swimming facilities in the heart of the Camden region. It was at this time Peter sought to create a company that based its ethos on integrity for clients.
Business owners running Learn to Swim Schools need their doors to stay open.
Aquatic facilities rely on transparency and professional care to provide quality services for their members.
Pool owners take pride in their beloved family pool, relying on a trustworthy relationship with their service technician.

"I have spent years training in swimming facilities and always trust they are being serviced to legislative standard. As a father of kids who also love to swim, their health and wellbeing is paramount."
